What we do
We build and run the systems Zambian businesses depend on. Two of them are our own products.
Around that sits custom development, IT infrastructure and the media work clients ask us for
once they trust us with the hard part.

Where we work
The systems are already
running in the field.
Sector knowledge that shortens delivery
We are not learning these sectors on your budget. Our software runs daily in Zambian insurance broking,
in a national government programme, and in human rights monitoring across the country.
01
Brokerease runs underwriting, claim management, binder and invoice workflows for broking firms across Zambia. It is our deepest sector and where most of our engineering time goes.
We built the Zambia Aquaculture Information System for the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock under ZADEP, funded by the African Development Bank. It replaced paper-based reporting with digital capture of production, hatchery operations, biosecurity, feed and fish sales across districts, and we trained 60 fisheries officers to run it.
We built the Right to Food app and web monitoring dashboard for FIAN International Zambia. Available on Google Play and the App Store, it lets people report food rights violations, including fully anonymously, with incidents mapped across Zambia for FIAN staff to track and act on.
Why SIIS
Built here.
Supported here.
A vendor you can actually reach
Most broker software sold into Zambia is supported from another continent.
Ours is not.
Our team sits in Woodlands, Lusaka. When a firm hits a problem mid-renewal, they reach someone in the same time zone who knows the system.
Brokerease and Ordezia are ours. Fixes and new features do not sit in a foreign vendor’s backlog waiting for a regional release.
Software, hosting, hardware supply, network infrastructure and campaign work handled under one contract and one point of contact.
How we work
From problem statement
to running system.
We start by arguing about the actual problem
SAFE is a think tank first. We spend real time on the problem statement before anyone
writes code, because the wrong system delivered on time is still the wrong system.
Our work process
Step
Progress
We sit with the people doing the work and map what actually happens, not what the manual says.

Digital Brokers Forum
Bringing Zambia’s broking
firms together.
Where the industry meets the software
We ran the Digital Brokers Forum in Lusaka to demonstrate Brokerease to the people who would actually use it,
and to answer the questions that come with changing how a firm works. These are the sessions.
A room full of brokers, not prospects.
The forum came out of support work. The same questions kept coming up across firms, so we put everyone in one room and answered them together.
Digital Brokers Forum, Lusaka
Broking teams from firms across Zambia spent the day working through what digitising underwriting and claims actually involves.
Live demonstration
Not a slide deck. We took the system apart on screen and showed how a policy moves from quote through to invoice.
Working session
Delegates worked through their own scenarios on their own laptops, which is where the awkward questions come out.
Open floor
What happens at renewal season. What happens when the internet drops. What it costs to change your mind later.
Industry discussion
A frank session on what has slowed digital adoption in Zambian broking, and what would need to change for it to stick.
Delegates
The forum came out of support work. The same questions kept coming up across firms, so we answered them together.
